Self-Collage
Our project was to create a collage of the things we love, and that make us who we are.
First 30 photos
This assignment was to take 30 random photos of whatever we want.
Texture & perspective photos
We took 30 photos showcasing texture and perspectives such as worm's eye, bird's eye, macro, and irregular setting.
Color adjustment
For this project, we played around on photoshop to explore how color changes a photo. My favorite technique was color select; choosing specific elements of a photo to colorize, while keeping the rest black & white.
Focal Point
We went up and down East Colfax Ave. in Denver, Co, capturing interesting focal points. My favorite photo to take was the old man in front of the fountain. His smile was adorable, along with his sheer excitement of my request to photograph him. As I left he waved and said, "Good luck with your project, dear!"
Aperture
We took pictures in groups of four using DSLR cameras to experiment with apertures 5.6, 8, 11, 16, and 22.
*note: my group forgot to use aperture 16 until the last round of photos.

Spooky Photos
We created 3-5 photos in the spirit of Halloween. The goal of the photos is to make one feel “Uneasy”, “Something's not right”, “Off”, “Bad vibes”, and “Eerie”. If it makes you ask “what happened?”, perfect. The guidelines were;
- No gore/gross
- At least 3 tutorials used
